As you might have noticed by now, I’ve made some changes around our sites. One of those was to make the Independent Creator Space a bit more personable. Smacking my face as the profile picture and making a new YouTube channel header. I did this in so that viewers would be able to see me as the face of the channel and to help bring in some personal experience.

I know that I have experimented with many different systems and setups over the years but, I wanted to drop a lot of what I felt were cruft. By keeping things as simple as possible with using Fourthwall as the main hub for blog posts and articles, it will also serve as our membership platform for those of you that wish to be part of the community of learning.

With the newsletter which you are reading from currently is being used with Beehiive, I know that I’ve used Ghost previously and still do currently with the 2TonWaffle side of things. I wanted to just work on this system for the future to see what it’s possibilities are and I’m still carrying a tiny grudge against Kit.

In the future I’m looking to build on our community with releasing more tutorials and walkthroughs of platforms and systems that perhaps some day in the future, we might have a need for a Discord server. For now, I wanted to just start with these basic systems and grow organically and I hope to look for some great conversations from all of you as well.
